Cost Estimator · Cyprus 2026

What will a solar system cost you?

Enter what you actually pay the EAC and we will work out the system that fits your consumption, then show an indicative price range. No packages, no guesswork on your part.

Design your solar system

Answer a few questions about your electricity use. We size the panels, inverter and battery to match your consumption and your EAC supply, then estimate cost, savings and payback.

Average monthly electricity bill: €150
Converted to consumption using an average rate of about €0.30 per kWh.

Typical solar system prices in Cyprus (2026)

Indicative price ranges for common system sizes, excluding VAT, computed the same way as the calculator above: panels, mounting, inverter, electrical works, labour and the EAC application.

System sizePanels (450W)InverterIndicative price (excl. VAT)
~4.95 kW115 kW€4,850 – €6,150
~5.85 kW136 kW€5,500 – €7,000
~9.9 kW2210 kW€8,450 – €10,750
~12.15 kW2712 kW€10,050 – €12,800
~19.8 kW442 × 10 kW€16,350 – €20,800

Prices shown are for the panels and inverter only, no battery. Add a battery from €1,725 per 5 kWh module. Your exact price depends on roof type, phase connection and site access — use the calculator above for a range sized to your own consumption.

What the estimate includes

Included

  • Panels, mounting rails and fixings
  • Hybrid inverter sized to the system
  • Battery modules where recommended
  • DC and AC electrical works, protections and cabling
  • Installation labour
  • The EAC application and paperwork

Not included

  • VAT
  • Scaffolding or difficult roof access
  • Switchboard or supply upgrades
  • Non-standard roof structures or ground mounting
  • Trenching or long cable runs to remote inverter positions

Why we show a range rather than one number

Two properties with identical consumption can differ by thousands. A tiled pitched roof takes longer than a flat concrete one. An inverter twenty metres from the board needs more cable and labour than one beside it.

An older switchboard may need work before anything can be connected. The range reflects that reality rather than hiding it until the quotation.

What this tool cannot see

  • Shading from buildings, trees or terrain across the day
  • The condition and structure of your roof
  • Your existing switchboard and earthing
  • Whether your consumption pattern matches your bill through the year

These are exactly the things a site assessment is for, and they are why this figure is a starting point rather than a price.

Frequently asked questions

A 5kW inverter system with about 11 panels typically costs roughly €4,850 to €6,150 excluding VAT, covering panels, mounting, inverter, electrical works, labour and the EAC application. A battery adds from €1,725 per 5kWh.
A 10kW inverter system with about 22 panels typically costs roughly €8,450 to €10,750 excluding VAT, covering panels, mounting, inverter, electrical works, labour and the EAC application. A battery adds from €1,725 per 5kWh.
No. It is an indicative estimate built from typical component and installation costs. A real price comes after we see the property, the roof and your consumption data.
No, all figures shown exclude VAT.
If you use most of your electricity during daylight, a battery adds cost without adding much value. We would rather tell you that than sell you storage you do not need.
Your supply and main fuse set a technical ceiling. If the calculation exceeds it, we size to the limit and flag it. A supply upgrade is possible but is a separate piece of work.
Systems beyond the range here, including commercial and industrial installations, need a proper load study. Get in touch and we will look at it properly.
