Sizing a battery

There is no single right size, because it depends on what you use after sunset. As a general shape, not a fixed rule:

Small households, light evening use — often served well by a smaller battery, enough to cover lighting, a fridge and typical evening appliances
Family homes with evening air-conditioning or cooking load — usually need meaningfully more capacity to avoid buying back expensive grid power once the sun goes down
Larger homes wanting most of the evening and night covered — sit at the upper end of what a single hybrid inverter typically supports before you are into commercial-scale territory
Three-phase properties — can usually support a larger battery and higher charge/discharge rates than a single-phase connection allows, which matters if you want the battery to handle bigger loads

We size from your actual evening and night consumption, not a generic figure, and tell you plainly if a bigger battery would not add real value.
