Who we are

CYMECH Energy Solutions Ltd is a solar and battery storage company based in Paphos, founded and led by a mechanical engineer. We design and install photovoltaic systems, LFP battery storage, backup solutions and off-grid systems for homes and businesses across Cyprus.

We were among the first companies in Paphos to have a battery storage system approved through EAC inspection, back in 2024, at a point when very few installers in the district were doing battery work at all.

Who writes this

The company was founded and is run by Charis Kasiouli, a mechanical engineer based in Paphos. He designs the systems, handles the EAC side, and writes the technical articles on this site.

That last part is deliberate. If you read something here about Net Billing maths or why a battery does or does not pay back, it was written by the person who will size your system, not by a marketing agency. When we get something wrong, we correct it and say so.

Our philosophy

The Cyprus market is full of companies selling solar by the kilowatt, as if every roof and every family were the same. We work the other way around.

Every project starts from your actual consumption data, your routine and your plans, and the system is engineered to fit them. Not the biggest system. Not the cheapest. The one that actually works for your home.

That also means we will sometimes tell you things sellers avoid: that your profile does not justify a battery yet, that a smaller array serves you better under Net Billing, or that whole-home backup costs more than your needs justify. Honest advice loses a sale occasionally. It builds a reputation permanently.

Why premium components

We install LFP batteries built on cells from established manufacturers such as CATL and EVE, and mainly KSTAR inverters, the platform we have chosen to specialise in.

Cyprus summers are a stress test for power electronics and battery chemistry; equipment that performs in a German catalogue does not automatically perform on a Paphos roof in August. Component choices, including the cell manufacturer inside the battery cabinet, are documented in every proposal we issue.

• Paperwork handled. We prepare and submit the EAC application for you.
• Professional installation. Typically one to two days for residential systems.
• Long-term support. Monitoring, maintenance and upgrades. We stay responsible for what we install.

Where we work

Our base is Paphos and we install across all of Cyprus, including Limassol, Nicosia, Larnaca and the Famagusta district. Cleaning and maintenance services currently focus on the Paphos district.
